Pci Serial Controller Driver Windows 7

I have installed Windows 7 Enterprise on a Dell e6500 and cannot find drivers for the PCI Serial Port and PCI Simple Communications Controller. I tried the Vista. Download the latest drivers for your PCI Serial Port to keep your Computer up-to-date. Jan 11, 2015  Hi, I just installed Windows 7 and updated all my drivers. I am missing two drivers, and I don't know what they are: PCI Serial Port PCI Simple Communication Controller. The 'PCI Serial Port Driver is not actually a Serial Port' Its the Intel AMT HECI & AMT SOL/LMS Hardware. The Current Driver for this works with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 32 and 64 bit.

The drivers on Lenovo's site worked, but they were not obvious. Thanks to focher for pointing them out.

PciSymptoms:
Upon unpacking my new Lenovo X200 tablet (well, my daughter's new Lenovo X200 tablet) I copied the hard drive contents to an external drive and then loaded the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Build 7100. I formatted the primary partition and installed Win7 there.

After installation some devices were not recognzed. I attached to my network via an Ethernet cable and was able to install some of the drivers by right-clicking and having Win7 search for them on the internet. However it was not able to find the drivers for three devices.

  • the first are self-extracting packages, they will create folders where you will find a setup or install.exe file.

    the third is a direct download from Realtek and normally will run automatically.

    i don't know if you have any antivirus blocking that kind of files.
