Nforce Network Controller Issue with Windows 7? Cannot connect to the internet. What happened to the NIC prior to installing the Nvidia Drivers? Did it work before that? To bump an old thread but I have the same issue and searching around the web there seems to be a major issue with the nForce Network Controller and Windows 7. i was try updating my nforce network driver from 50.0.9.0 to this version, but hell it brings me big problem, luckily i have backup the old driver, after that i download the newest nforce driver from nvidia website

The product description CLEARLY SAYS: Windows 2000/xp. THIS DRIVER IS FOR VISTA!! I looked everywhere to find the nvidia lan driver for xp and I ended up here, downloading 8 Megs for a VISTA DRIVER!!! Does not work on XP!!!

I formatted my older 2004 compaq computer and forgot to backup my old drivers. Luckily the compaq site had the original drivers right there, and then I love CNET! you always have what I need as far as computer stuff. THANKYOU again for helping me!
