This listing is for a pdf file American Girl Doll or 18 inch doll House plans. My husband and I spent hours designing these plans. Our girls have spent hours enjoying this house and they love that dad and mom made it especially for them. Now you can build your own with our detailed plans and expertise!
We will also provided email support for questions when building the dollhouse.
Finished dollhouse measures 6 feet 8 inches tall, 5 feet 3' wide and 2 feet deep.
Each room is 2'-6' wide, 2' tall and 2' deep.
Tools needed:
Circular Saw
Miter Saw (Trim)
Jig saw (cutting out doors and windows)
Steel Square
Tape Measure
Finish Nailer & Compressor
Brad Nailer & Compressor
Utility Knife (to cut vinyl flooring)
Expect to spend 30 to 40 hours depending on your skill level. You will need to have the tools and some experience using those tools. The Dollhouse can be built from $250 to $500 depending on lumber prices in your area and optional trim selected. The doll house pictured was constructed in place using MDF and finish nails and was not intended to be moved out of the room. The doll house is very large and will not be easy to move. You will need to check clearances with doorways, stairs etc. to make sure it could be moved after being built.
Also included is a resource guide that describes where you can buy all the furniture and accessories in the dollhouse.

The book is nice and the project are beautiful, but you do need several tools (scrolls saw, router table, router bits, chisels or a mortise jib, table saw and possibly a drill press)and knowledge how to use them as there are several different types of joints the author uses.
As others said, I found the instructions a bit 'off' especially for beginners who don't know how to 'look' at a project but slowly work their way step by step. I did have to make some adjustments due to the not-so-clear inst...more

18 In Doll Furniture Plans

18 inch doll furniture patterns free
OK as a starting point, but full of errors. For example, says to cut 2' blank into two 1' pieces - you'll need a zero kerf saw for that. Picture clearly shows rectangular bedpost, list calls for 3/4' square pieces, which are shown flush on both sides with 1/2' headboards! You'll need to draw your own plans and check ALL measurements before drawing up your own cut list. Not for beginners.

A decent book with quite a few different projects. The plans are pretty straight forward but the procedures are just bulk text without any diagrams.
They are fairly easy to follow but it will take a few practice fittings before you get everything together correctly.
